Pine Tree Camp 40th Dysart's Snowmobile Ride-in (Fri-Sun) (Fundraiser)
Location: Newport Armory 81 North Street Newport, ME

The 2013 Snowmobile Ride-in in Newport, Maine will feature a wide range of community events fun for the whole family. The event draws snowmobilers from all corners of Maine as well as people living in the greater Newport area. Clubs throughout Maine raise money for Pine Tree Camp throughout the year and ride in to Newport to make their donations. All proceeds from the event will benefit Pine Tree Camp, an extraordinary summer camp for Maine children and adults with disabilities. For more information contact: 207-443-3341

Flapjack Fundraiser (Bennefit Breakfast)
Time: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Location: Applebee's, 251 Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville, ME

A fundraiser to support the community with recreational improvements at the Sherwin Hill Park. With the new developments children, teens, and adults will have a safe and fun place to enjoy recreation. Strong emphasis will be especially put on improving the skatepark so both beginner and intermediate skating, BMX-ing, rollerblading, and scootering. FMI: 313-2006

Old Fort Western's 26th Winter Lecture Series (Lecture Series)

Old Fort Western s 26th -annual Winter Lecture Series will begin Sunday, February 3rd, at 2pm with Ed Kavanagh, Vice President of Lincoln County Historical Association and Ellen Gibson, Executive Director of the Vaughan Homestead Foundation. Mr. Kavanagh s lecture will focus on the different 18th century sites belonging to the LCHA along the Kennebec that existed around the time Fort Western was part of Lincoln County. This lecture is free to attend and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided and donations to The Old Fort Western Fund are always welcome.
