Pittsfield Community Theatre Announces Closure for Digital Upgrade (Community Theater)
Location: 137 Main Street, Pittsfield

To complete the digital conversion and renovations, the Theatre will be closed Friday, March 29 – Thursday, April 4, 2013. The Pittsfield Community Theatre will re-open on Friday, April 5, 2013 with our first digital movie – SNITCH, an action/adventure and suspense/thriller in which a father goes undercover for the DEA in order to free his son who was wrongly imprisoned. The Town of Pittsfield purchased the Theatre in 1977 for $24,000 in order to ensure that the theatre remained open for the children and families of the community and surrounding towns. Over the last 36 years, hundreds of thousands of children have attended the Pittsfield Community Theatre. It has been a great opportunity to see movies at a low price and an experience that the children remember all of their lives –going to the theatre for the first time on your own or seeing your first scary movie.
