Horizon Program AIDS Walk (Community Event)
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Quarry Road Trails, Waterville

2016 Horizon Program AIDS Walk. To be held on Saturday, May 21st from 9am-12pm at the Quarry Road Trails in Waterville.The morning starts off with registration and complimentary breakfast items at 9am with the Walk beginning at 10am.After the walk and/or run, there will be a free cookout. We also have a silent auction, clowns and face painting, which will add up to a fun-filled event. We have the Snow Pond Pantasticks, a great steal drum band for entertainment. This is a pet-friendly event with all dogs on leashes.The Horizon Program works with HIV positive clients and their families from the mid-coast to central areas of Maine. We have a clinic in Gardiner and also have case management and social services in our offices in Augusta. We hold client lunches with educational speakers as well as social events. In addition to the AIDS Walk, we host a World AIDS Day event on December 1st at one our local churches.
