Elk Summer Music Festival (Benefit)

Location: Augusta Elks Lodge

The Elk Summer Music Festival will be hosted at the Augusta Elks Lodge July 31, and August 1, 2015. The festival is a family event and the proceeds from the event will benefit the Travis Mills Foundation. The fun starts Friday night with opening ceremonies featuring Travis Mills beginning at 6pm. The night's entertainment will include Working Class and Emerald Sky. Saturday the kids join in on the fun with events from 10am to noon. Live music performances will be provided by some of the top bands in the area from noon till midnight. Vendors, food, and raffles will be available during both days.

Zak is a wonderful little boy who has been dealing with the awful cancer situation. He's had chemotherapy and currently has 8 months left for leukemia treatments and then we pray.Zak has been asking for a treehouse for 3 years now. When I heard this I knew I had to do what was right.I contacted his mother and told her I'm going to raise as much as I can for his treehouse. We have a Facebook page called Help Zak fight back. And a go fund me account as well. We're looking for donations as well as people to help. I really hope to see you there. Donations and cans/bottles welcome

Save Tinker the Sidney Cow (Benefit/ Fundraiser)

Location: Marden's in Waterville

This bake sale will benefit Tinker the Cow that was taken from a farm in Sidney. Tinker lost the hooves on both of his hind legs this winter from frost bite and the State of Maine Animal Welfare Bureau wants to "put Tinker down." We want to raise money so that Tinker can live and receive the medical care necessary for him to have a fully functional life. There will be tie die t-shirts and Guardian Angel ornaments available also. All of the money will be going to Tinkers vet bills.
